do guys get it too?

My best friend told me about a myth that says: If you roll over your partner after sex, the day you conceived, he will have your pregnancy sypmtoms.

i recently posted something similar to this question. my boyfriend has had every symptom that he can, & i haven't had any! a lot of people will call them sympathy pains or jealousy pains because the men feel left out when the mother to be is experiencing all of them and "getting attention." and some others say that if the man really loves you and the relationship is good, the symptoms they feel are real. my girlfriends tell me all the time how my boyfriend must really love me because he had symptoms almost 2 weeks before we even thought i could've been pregnant! i think they have them but i guess eveyone's entitled to their own opinion!

My ex husband did not get morning sickness with my first two daughters, but my current boyfriend did with this pregnancy. I also know of other guys with the same experience.

I think it has something psychological to do with the symbiotic nature of creating a new life.

The man is basically subconsciously mimicking the woman's symptoms in a gesture of unity and appreciation for her condition.

I know that when we had our children, I gain weight with my pregnant wife.

Yup..........and I am still trying to shed those pounds 17 years later.

I didn't suffer from morning sickness but I did got cravings for pizza just like my wife did

It happens. My boyfriend was sick a week before we found out. When I was pregnant with my second, my father had sympathy symptoms!

I guess my dad got it when my mom was pregnant with my brother, I never had any morning sickness and neither has my bf!!
