When should I take a pregnancy test?

My menstral cycle is a little irregular. It ranges from 29-33 days, but I don't recall it ever being longer. I am on day 34 and no sign of anything. My husband and I have been ttc with no luck so I guess my mind is telling me there is no way that I'm pregnant and I will probably start tomorrow. Do you think I should go ahead and take a test or just wait until tomorrow morning. I don't really want to get my hopes up but I also don't want to be let down.

I would wait until in the morning to take it when you first pee. That is the best way to take it because it can better pick up the pregnancy hormones.

Good luck to both of us!!

I would wait longer....like another week. Then something will really be able to show up. What if you are preg and its still too early. Then that neg will make you feel even worst. Just wait another week and see if you period starts.

Good Luck!!! Im ttc too w/ irregular cycles.

If you keep waiting for tomorrow and you don't start you could be pregnant and doing things that you shouldn't be doing if you are....i.e: drinking alcohol, etc. Go ahead and take the test to put your mind at ease. It's been long enough for it to show.

you can take it as early as 5 days before missed, so take it, then at least you will know, just don't expect anything, so you can't get let down!
