Does anyone believe in astrology?

You are not supposed to believe in astrology (Chineese or otherwise) You are supposed to understand astrology. Always search for understanding and you will believe in the truth.

I find that studying astrology, Chinese and western both helps me to understand the influences our environments and the circumstance of our birth hold on us. It explains the complex (to me) ideas of interpersonal communications in simple (to me) mathematical terms. Though popular science cannot explain the coincidence of astrology at this time, I think that one day it will. I reserve the word "believe" for things that cannot and never will be explained by science. I don't think that astrology fits into that sphere. I cannot believe in astrology anymore than I can believe in the wind. It simply is.

I believe in very little. I can take observations and use statistical mapping and relationships between aspects just pop out of the statistical results. There are hundreds of characteristics that do not agree well with popular astrology but have an incidence of occurance over 85% of the time.

Not really, but it is kind of fun.

Chinese astrology is sort of interesting. I like reading it on the table mats of a Chinese restaurant. I just don't like to tell people I was born in the Year of the Cock (Rooster).

I wouldn't like being born in the Year of the Rat, or the Year of the Monkey, or the Year of the Pig either.

its interesting. umm but im not sure too much on the chinese astrology. but the zodiac- western seems pretty accurrate

And must admit some signs of people I know are pretty accurate..
