I got a couple today, and it looked liked I only got a point for them instead of 10??? Has something changed???? Thanks

No it's still ten points although yahoo answers is currently under a "lag" delay glitch. Points and email notifications are being posted a while after a best answers is chosen so not to worry your points will be sent.
Confirmation of what the (1) point was for can be found under your recent account activity , the one point might have been for a thumbs up on a best answer.

Whenever you don't know what's going on with your points, immediately go to your Profile, and click the Activity Details tab.
You can see the last 6 things that effected your points.
You did things to lose points: Either asking questions, or for violations (for these, you get an email notifying you of the removal).
A Best is worth 10, plus 1 per thumb up.

No, as far as I know, but I haven't kept a close I on the total. The best answer notice said I got 10 points.

If you check your activity list you may see what they have done.
You may have got 10 for a best answer and a further one point for a thumbs up.
Look at the question and see if you did get a thumbs up.
