Laptop battery/charging problems?
I have a Toshiba laptop. Just recently it's been unable to maintain a mains power connection and switches to battery source, even if all the wires are plugged in. If I continually unplug and plug back in the wire into the back of my laptop, every now and then it'll start charging again for 5 minutes or so, and then just flick back to wearing down the battery.
Anyone have any ideas what this means, and what can be done to fix it?
Thanks for your help!

I used to own a Toshiba and mine did the same thing. It is a factory defect, I called up Customer Service and they sent me another. It really isn't much of a problem since they send it to you free in exchange for the old defective one. But that was 2 years ago. I'm not sure if they offer that anymore.

you probably have a short in the wire from the "brick" to the laptop...usually at the plug. Get a new power supply....unless you are really good with soldering and molding plugs.

your laptop battery is not taking the power supply properly . that men's there is some problem with the power cable .. try with a different power cable . if still it's happened the same then change the battery with a new power cable .

only thing that i can think of is that the power cable is bad. you are just going to have to try a different power source before you buy try someone elses to see if that is the problem

Get a new adapter, that should solve the problem, also you might have a loose connection from your laptop to adapter and if so your screwed.
