Women and breast cancer - important.?

I hope I can do this on here. I just got an e-mail about a bill in congress. Most insurance companies don't want to pay for a woman to stay in the hospital after a mastectomy and are even trying to make it outpatient surgery. There is a bill in congress to allow a woman 48 hours in the hospital after surgery if her doctor thinks she needs it. Lifetime tv has a petition going to try to get this bill passed. Here is the link. www.lifetimetv.com/breastcancer/petition/signpetition.php If the link doesn't work, go to www.lifetimetv.com/breastcancer and click on the tab that says sign petition. I went to snopes and checked this out to make sure it is true and it is. So, for all of the women out there, please sign the petition.

I think the reason they are trying to introduce this bill, is because of alot of HMO's and other insurances, have deamed a masectomy an outpatient surgery. This bill would provide a patient and doctor with more leeway in care.

    I think it's needed.
