The Phoenix Suns have the 29th selection in the 2007 NBA Draft... which player should they pick?

He's worth the risk at this point, and with the spread out offense, he won't have to bang in the paint too much against bigger players. I'd go with Sean Williams - The guy can block in transition which is a huge asset for this team. good leadership here too, so I'm not worried about his character problems.

FYI - Jared Dudley is one of the slower players in the draft - at ANY position. Nice player, but SLOW. Ranked 64th in Orlando's pre-draft camp out of 78 players for the 3/4 court sprint. The Suns won't draft Jared Dudley.

Sean Williams

Perfect fit in my opinion...he's got the athleticism the Suns want. This guy blocked 75 shots in only 15 games.....With the possibility of Marion being traded, Williams would be a good replacement (without the 3 point range). He plays great defense, can score inside, and can rebound. Pairing Williams and Amare would make it a lot tougher for teams with dominant big men like the Spurs, Pistons, etc...

If the Suns had an early 2nd rounder, I think they might try to pick him up later. But I think there's too much potential in Williams for them not to take him...even with his character issues.

I would stay away from Sean Williams.He sounds like the next headcase to play in the NBA...I like Reshawn Terry from NC, 6-7 great ball handller, long arms, great athlete, especially if the Marion trade rumors are true.

well in this mock draft if Sean Williams is still on the board they will take him. He fits their style of play with aggresive play in the paint and athleticisim. He can help diaw and amare when the 2 go to the bench and become a physical and athletic prescence the suns have been looking for. Dont be suprised if pheonix deals this pick but if willaims is still on the board expect them to pick him up

if i was the suns(which i love) if i had to pick from those i would pick Gabe Pruitt because i've been watching him from USC and he is just what the suns need he can shoot threes well so he would go good with raja bell and hes a very good team scoreer and player so if i were them i would look at him but just to let you kno i don't think Nick young is going to the lakers i can see him going a bit earlier

I think Jared Dudley would be a great fit if they do have a chance to get him... he is a big, fast, strong forward and the suns could use him

Aaron Afflalo is the best player but Phoenix has too many good SGs

nash isnt going to last forever and banks is a horrible PG. phx needs a pg in the waiting and barbosa is more of a shooting guard than a playmaker so they should go with pruitt.

I think it would be Aaron Brooks .His game goes with Suns mechanic he shoot very well and passes the ball well too and they need a PG back up and go with Leandro Barbosa more in SG .
