Everytime I try and do the internet connections on my Wii, why is it that the connectivity test always fails?

I have a wireless internet connection using a Westell P-327W router. I looked on the nintendo website, but none of it helps me. It told me the default IP address for my router, but i dont know what thats got to do with anything, and where im supposed to put the number in. And does it matter if there is a padlock (or lock) on the access point i find? if so, why?

This is an easy question I'm surprised that nobody Else answered this the answer is:

You will have to Unlock your access point!

How to do this if you have network magic is:

Click on the "Add a Device"

them click on wireless connection then it should unlock your network and you should figure it out from there

If it still doesn't work then i don't know!

If you don't have network magic then i also don't know what to do.

    but...

If you have a Password for your network then enter that password when given chance to.

That's all i can think of
