I preordered a copy of GTA 5 on the PSN store the other day, under the assumption that I would be able to preload the game before the 17th. However, with that recent leak going around, it looks rather unlikely that a preload will be possible.

I've never actually downloaded a large PlayStation game from the Store before, so I am entirely clueless as to what download times I should expect for a game such as GTA 5.

I was wondering if any of you would be able to provide me with a somewhat solid answer?

My internet connection download speed is 60 Mbps, and the PS3 is on a wired connection. However, the PS3 is only ever able to download at 5 Mbps.

Based on the speeds that I am getting, how long do you believe it would take me to download an 18GB game from the PSN store?

Does anyone know if the official YouTube rental service is in HD?

I've had a Wii U since November 18th, and up until the most recent firmware update, the system has been working fairly well, with one instance where it froze.

However, after the update, my system has been freezing up constantly, with roughly three freezes today alone. Each time, the system was trying to connect to some form of networked service, such as the Miiverse or COD multiplayer. I'm wondering if this could be a sign of a defective unit, or if it is just a harmless firmware bug?

Has anyone else been having their systems freeze up? If so, then it's likely just a firmware issue.

Seems to only happen when trying to access the internet.

I hate unplugging the power cord every time it freezes, but there doesn't seem to be any viable alternatives.

Network Information : 55 Mbps Download, 2 Mbps Upload

Netflix has been known to automatically detect network bandwidth, but lately, it has been doing a horrible job at doing so.

I'm attempting to stream an HD movie through the Netflix PS3 client, and the quality is averaging Low / SD quality, rather than the usually expected Extra High / HD.

I'm able to stream the same movie on the PC in HD quality.

The PS3 is wired in to the modem directly, and, for whatever reason, has an average download speed of 5 Mbps. (network test) This has to be an issue with the PS3 itself, or possibly the Netflix client, and not my internet or network.

However, the internet connection test has always shown a 5 Mbps download speed average on the PS3, so I assumed it was a limitation with the network card. Even so, I've never encountered any such problems with Netflix before, so, honestly, I'm clueless as to what the problem truly is, let alone how to fix it.

Can anyone provide me with any kind of help, tips or even troubleshooting information?

I'm always able to stream on my PC or my Xbox, but I have the wireless 7.1 headphones that are exclusive to the PS3, so I'd rather not stream on any other platform.

I've been searching the internet for an updated and reliable source, but have so far been unable to find one.

I've always been told that it is legal to download copyrighted and/or pirated files using torrent websites, just as long as you do not contribute to the uploading process.

From what I've been able to find on websites such as Wikipedia, downloading copyrighted music files is entirely legal for personal use, but not for resale or commercial use.

However, I couldn't find any mention of other file types, and their legality.

So my main question is; is it currently legal, as of January 1st 2012, to download copyrighted files off of the internet, specifically movie files and/or video games?
