How much money are you willing to pay for website hosting & domain names?

I've recently started up my own website hosting firm, and need some price suggestions.

Up until now I've been using GoDaddy and other popular providers to get a basic pricing example, but I feel as if I should also get the opinion from you guys.

How much money do you currently spend on website hosting (month) and domain hosting (year), or if you do not already have website or domain hosting, how much money do you think is the average price, and how much would you be willing to spend on website hosting or domain names?

Also, please tell me which domain extension you're using. (.COM, .NET, .ORG, etc)

Update:

Posted the same question twice into two categories. Not sure what my question should be classified as.

An interesting question. You know what you're getting from people like GoDaddy and Yahoo. In your case, we have no idea. So, for us to take the risk with someone we know nothing about, you'll have to either (1) offer much better services, or (2) come in at a much lower cost.

    That's just business!

hiya.if you go on ebay and type in "online business for sale" you can buy a ready made website for as little as £5.00.that includes the domain.all you would have to do then is promote it.i paid £10.99 for my domain although i cannot remember what site i bought it off.it ends in org.uk.If you are looking for information. regarding your online business this website is great and tells you vertually everything that you need to know from promoting your site to sales pitches. its worth checking out.
