Legality of drinking alcohol while under the legal age specified by country?

If the age of consuming alcoholic beverages is 19, and I visit America for summer vacation, would I still be allowed to drink alcohol, even though I am under 21, but over 19?

    Of course not. When you're in the US, you're subject to American law.

    Unfortunately not. You've got to be 21 years or older to purchase or buy alcohol here.
