Wireless Internet? What do I all need?
I have a HP Pavillion laptop. I have the wireless switch on and I am picking up a wireless signal. It is an open signal. It says I am contented with excellent signal strength, however I am unable to use the internet with it?
What am I lacking or doing wrong?

You are picking up wireless signal, are you connected?
You said contented, I'm not sure if you mean content or connected. Sorry! If you aren't connected, double click on it to connect in most cases.
Make sure the signal you are connecting to (your router) is hooked up to the internet (most routers have this plug that says internet on it and you connect your cable box / DSL box to it).
