I am looking for an estimate for the cost to replace a transmission.?

It's in a 1998 Saturn, and I am just looking for an average cost, including parts and labor. Thanks. (Automatic SL1)

    For a brand new transmission your looking just shy of $2000 done professionally, for a Rebuilt transmission you're looking at roughly $1,200, just because it is a lot of labor to do it, and mechanics like to make money.
