  • A good charity to donate to in a child's name?

I am looking for a charity to donate to that deals with children who have passed away. I have a niece and a nephew who both passed away during my sister's second trimester. I want to donate some money in their names as a sort of gift this Christmas and I need a few ideas of where to donate to. I do want something child based, or something similar to the march of dimes. Please leave your favorites and a few details and I will check them out. Thanks (:

  • Is it possible to give someone a baby without all the adoption fees?

My sister has had a lot of problems with infertility and has pretty much given up on having a biological child of her own, but the cost of adoption is outrageous. Is there a simpler form of adoption where I or else someone could simply sign the parental rights over to my sister?

  • Need some sources that go with The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy...?

I am writing a paper over this book for my English class, but am having a hard time finding sources to go along with the book. I am pretty much writing about the personalities on the book along with the social structure. Any help on finding sources would be great, thanks!

  • The scroll button on my mouse has stopped working...?

Is this common, or could mine just be dirty. I have only had the mouse for about 6 months, and the rest of the mouse is working perfectly. Any ideas?

  • What can you tell me about Ken Lay of Enron...?

Yes, I am doing homework. It refers to the Enron case, but I have to be honest, I didn't care about it then, and now that it has been a while I am having a hard time pulling up relevent sites to get information from. I would basically just like to know who the guy was and what exactly he did... Any sites you happen to find would be great, I am gonna go look some more.

  • If he is not in love yet, will he ever be?

My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for about a year and a half now. We see each other on average only twice a year partly due to distance but also because he was in Iraq for a while. I know I am in love with him, but he has yet to say the words to me (which I am okay with). I am just wondering if it gets to a point where it's been long enough I know he will never fall in love?

I have a girlfriend in the same situation, except hers is not a long distance relationship. I just wonder if there is a point of no return. A point where I should start wondering if I am just not the girl for him...

  • Is it reasonable that I am so upset?

Last night I talked to my boyfriend online (long distance relationship) and as he opened a gift I had gotten him. He immediatly told me that though he appriciated the thought I should not have bought him that because he didn't like it. (I bought him cigars, he is a regular cigar smoker, but appparently the specific kind I got wasn't something he wanted even though it is a brand he likes.)

Now at this point I guess I was upset and a little shocked that he had been so rude. I understand that he has to tell me at some point that his taste is different than what I thought, and I DO want him to tell me that he doesn't want me to buy him certain things, but I think he could have waited longer than the exact point that he opened the gift. (We have been dating for a year and a half and he has never said anything about it until now.) Am I being rediculous because I am mad, or was it as rude as I think it was?

  • Does anyone know a vacation website where I can find an all inclusive trip to Italy?

Rome specifically, but some sort of tour would be okay as well. I am not planning right away, but would love to look through some all inclusive vacations. I have already looked on some of the major travel sites (travelocity, orbitz, yahoo travel) and didn't find any vacation packages. Please and thank you!

  • My leg hurts...?

Last night I kinda noticed that I had a dull ache in my left leg. Today it hurts something awful, like I fell or something, but I didn't. It is my left leg, and it only hurts from the knee down. It hurts to walk on it, not to turn my foot from side to side, but it does to point my toe up. Any ideas?

  • I need help naming a lizard...?

It is a little bearded dragon. Umm, I can't tell if it has a personality because all it does is lizardy things, you know, eat, sleep, lay around, run, look at you. So, any suggestions? Meaning would be a big plus!

  • How much does the average wedding cost?

My little sister is getting married next year and has found a bed and breakfast nearby that will handle invitations, printed napkins, the cake and buffet for up to 100 people. They provide location, a room for the bride to ready in and a room for the night. They provide all the chairs and do clean up.

They handle all this for just over $3000, and the location is beautiful (I have stayed there). I keep telling my sister this is an exceptional deal, anyone else have opinions?
