My leg hurts...?
Last night I kinda noticed that I had a dull ache in my left leg. Today it hurts something awful, like I fell or something, but I didn't. It is my left leg, and it only hurts from the knee down. It hurts to walk on it, not to turn my foot from side to side, but it does to point my toe up. Any ideas?

My head hurts. I thinks its from reading and LOL. Is this for real or am I in the twilight zone? My question is this. How in the world would you expect anybody to give you an answer? If you called a doctor the first freaking thing they are going to tell you is to come in for an examination.

BE VERY CARE FULL HERE! Chances are you pulled your gastroc muscle (calf muscle) and it's nothing to worry about. But given the absence of trauma your description also fits a DVT (deep vein thrombosis). This is potentially fatal. It is a clot in your leg. It can dislodge and travel to your brain, heart or lungs with devastating or deadly consequences. If you have any medical conditions or medications that make you prone to clotting, GO TO THE ER! If your calf feels hard, hot and looks red, GO TO THE ER! This is no joke.

If you have been walking or running more often than normal, you may have only pulled your extensor hallicis longus muscle which is responsible for pointing your big toe up. Just feel the top surface of your foot above your big toe and you might be able to feel the tendon. Resist pointing your big toe up with your hand, if it makes the pain worse, that's what your problem is.

you could have pulled a calf muscle and need to go to the ER. if this happened you need o be careful not to walk a certain way. or you couldve twisted your knee while you were walking either way go to the ER or the doctor.

Maybe it's a blood clot, or a muscle cramp or something. Go see a doctor.
