why does diet coke taste so much more sugared than regular coke?

Its the sweetner Aspartme they use. Much sweeter than regular sugar. And with a funny chemical after taste.

Because Diet Coke is made with artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame and Splenda. These man-made sweeteners are much sweeter than the real thing, but they are not "fattening" because although they do have calories, our bodies consider them foreign and reject them. This is because our bodies don't recognize them as food, so they go unabsorbed and are excreted from our system.

However, some people believe that these potentially dangerous sweeteners are stored in liver after ingested and could therefore accumulate to toxic levels after continuous use.

I therefore recommend that you should NOT drink Diet Coke or anything made with artificial sweeteners. Switch to regular Coke, or better yet, plain water!!

Basically...

In diet coke theres no sugar..right? So they have to put in lots of sweetners and flavourings to compensate for the fact there's no sugar. Which is probably why it tastes sweeter.

That coke zero stuff's horrible.

Try Coca Cola Zero. It seems to have less of an aftertaste than the regular Diet Coke.

Diet anything tastes absolutely awful because artificial sweeteners are much sweeter than sugar. Horrible stuff.

Coke Zero is the least fattening.

One 2L bottle of normal Coke is 232% of your suggested daily sugar intake. And that's just how I like it. One of them everyday never hurt me.

it mite be coz ur used 2 coke so much tht u cant get used 2 diet coke! y don't u try (dunno wats it called ) i think its coke zero or sumhin.
