I need to contact the person with the air bag question. Air bags MUST NOT be worked on by amateurs. They are?

Air bags are activated by explosives and if deployed by accident thay can cause injury to any body nearby. This is really important.

If necessary I can give more details. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. Robert B.

    Annabel - you take your car into a qualified garage and they can do it for you. Also on some of the cars they have a key that you can turn in a lock that disarms it straight away. If you do disarm one then if you sell the car on it is imperative that you tell the new owners what you have done.

    so how do you disarm an airbag so a child can ride in the front seat?
