Muskrat or Beaver?
Could you please look at picture #46 in my photo album on my Yahoo 360 page and tell me whether you think this is a beaver or a muskrat? It lives in a hole next to my driveway. Thank you.

I cannot get to the albums from this computer, but if it is living in a hole by your house chances are it is NOT a beaver.
Like I said I cannot look at the photo but chances are it is a muskrat, mink, weasel or something similar. Trust me, you will know a bever if you see one, their body shape and size is far different.

If it's not living near water it is not a muskrat or beaver.
I think it is a groundhog also called a woodchuck.
It would be about the same size as a muskrat.
And they are common in New England and live in holes.
