  • How to cancel Carnival Cruise?

We originally booked two because we were not sure what vacation time my husband would get approved. The final payment is due for the first one in a few weeks and I wanted to cancel but I cannot find anything on the website where I can cancel... only a button to pay. Of course the phone lines are bogged down due to Covid. Web search was no help.

  • Hotel Suggestion for Port Canaveral ?

We will be cruising out of Port Canaveral for the first time and looking for a good hotel suggestion. We will be flying into MCO the day before. Wondering if anyone has found a nice place that has a free airport and cruise port shuttle. We really do not care what the hotel offers, just something that feels clean. Thanks!

  • Alaskan Cruise Suggestions?

We cruise often in the Caribbean but are looking towards Alaska this time and could use a bit of help.

Favorite cruise line and or ship? Why? (will probably do a balcony room)

We are thinking of July but other window suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanks!

  • Disney World Snacks? (See details)?

With having two snack credits per night of stay now, I feel I no longer have to restrict myself to my favorites. Looking to try a bunch of new stuff this year... your favorite snacks or snack locations? Thanks!

  • Iphone XR... tired of entering password help?

So on the Iphone 8 Plus there was fingerprint ID that you could use for the apple store, bank apps and the like instead of having to imput your password each time. Of course on the X phones the fingerprint ID is gone. Did something take its place? Is there a setting I can change to not have to enter my password. Assuming it is something simple and I am just being tech stupid.

    Thanks for any help!

  • Carnival Cruise - Grand Cayman Port?

This will be our first time at this port and I was wondering how it was set up. Are there any beaches at the port or within walking distance? Is there enough to do within walking distance or do you have to hire a car to get to beaches and good shopping?

Can you compare it to any of the other ports that Carnival uses?

    Thanks!

  • Pre Cruise Hotel in Miami?

Later this year we will be taking a cruise out of Miami but will be flying down the day before.

We are looking for a good but budget friendly (less than 150) hotel to stay. Something with a free breakfast, even if small, and free airport shuttle or cruise port shuttle (or both).

Found a few standard chains but lately we have been staying at some lesser known places and found their services and offerings way above the larger chains. Any suggestions would be great!

    Thanks!

  • Discounts and Coupons with Magic Bands?

Disney used to send a few coupons and a list of places you could get discounts on food or retail items. For example free round of mini golf and discount at Jofferys. Do they no longer do this?

  • Christmas at Disney help...?

First let me say we vacation at Disney often so we do not need resort/ticket/dining or general vacation help. That being said this will be our first trip there during Christmas so we are looking for tips or things to check out that might not be listed on the general webpage. This will probably be our only "Christmas" trip there so we do not want to miss any of the little things.

    Thanks for any help!

  • Help with Chicago hotel... (aquairum, field museum, zoo)?

We have been to Chicago but it has been about 25 years.... We are looking at heading to Chicago next month for a couple days to hit up the aquarium, Field Museum and zoo.

Given the drama and expense of driving/parking in Chicago, does anyone have any good hotel suggestions for the area that are either within a fair walking distance or walking distance to public transportation?

    Or, open to other suggestions...

    Thanks!

  • Kilowatts usage doubled?!?

We have lived in our new home for a few months now and have had three actual readings and one estimated. All three actual readings were within 100 kw of one another, this months actual was more than double all three of the others. Why on earth would this happen?

    Mind you...

-Our air unit is brand new and the thermostat is programmed. We have not touched it since we moved in.

-All major appliances are brand new.

-Temp has gone up a bit but it has not caused the air to kick on any extra.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

The only thing that is new is we had two garage door openers installed but of course using those a couple times a day is not enough to make it double in usage.

  • Displaying flags horizontally. What is proper?

In our new home we will be hanging our flags (US and College) from the porch overhang rather than on a pole. Thus they will be horizontal rather than vertical. If memory serves from the street the US flags should have the stars on the right. My question is more does it matter what order they should be hung in. With placing one on each side of the front door does it matter which one goes where?

  • Best floor cleaner for hardwood floors.?

We have lived in homes that have a room or two of hardwood, a small enough area where something like a swifter worked fine.

Now however we are purchasing a new home that is all hardwood and I am looking for ideas on a step up from our swifter.

  • Renaming Hollywood Studios... any guess as to what?

So they let it slip that they are renaming Hollywood Studios but the subject was changed quickly and there is no word as to what.

Anyone have any good guesses? Maybe Disney Studios?

  • What to do in Kauai BESIDES the beach and or state park?

We are taking a trip in a few months and I have been looking into activities to do while we are there. Everything I find is either beach/water based (scuba, snorkel, surfing, fishing, etc) or park based such as hiking. Does anyone know of anything else to do? Interesting local places to shop? Neat places to eat? Tours?

    Thanks for any help!

  • Extra battery source for travel?

I will be taking an extended flight in a few months and I am looking to purchase an extra power source for when my phone and tablet die. I am not looking for something crazy expensive but would like it small and portable. Any suggestions?
