Christmas at Disney help...?
First let me say we vacation at Disney often so we do not need resort/ticket/dining or general vacation help. That being said this will be our first trip there during Christmas so we are looking for tips or things to check out that might not be listed on the general webpage. This will probably be our only "Christmas" trip there so we do not want to miss any of the little things.

i don't know if i'm of much help, but we went at thanksgiving week a couple years back (which is when the Christmas season officially starts at WDW), and my then 9 year old was in awe with the Holiday Stories around the World in EPCOT. He sat in the front row of each storytelling just listening intently. ..especially loved the tradition of Italy's Christmas with the witch. World Showcase was tastefully decorated. ...also there were beautiful topiaries that light up at night in future world.
One good thing is that Avatar Land will be open in Animal Kingdom. Also they were able to get the Rivers of Light nighttime water show up and going, so that's something to look forward to, as well as just being able to be in AK at night.
There were some holiday "specialty" drinks and foods at various kiosks.
...maybe consider getting "mickey's very merry christmas party" tickets for MK which i've read really great things about.
Other than the resorts and parks being decorated, as well at Disney Springs, and all the other holiday extras mentioned on websites, i hadn't noticed anything else.
