Been trying to contact Yahoo by email to let them know there is no "close ad" button for me to clik (someone at their main office must have 'forgot' to give us, their paying public, that option for some reason, as if anyone would actually 'want' to watch any advertising in the first place!) as soon as the huge commercial square at the top of the main front page begins to load as I have always done for every single commercial they try to force me to watch (it was an ad for something Apple makes), and finally decided this is the best way to do that since I have been searching for over 13 minutes and STILL cannot find a way to contact Yahoo's customer service by email yet.

Yoy need to say the magic word, in the proper order, while standing on your left foot. Seriously, I occasionally get through, by accident, and can never duplicate it. Oh, and I get the same answer every time. A loop of FAQ crap, along with "Too bad, that is just how it is.". I just checked out MSN, and I think I can live with that. And yes, I have been with Yahoo for 20 years too. I have had the same email address for 12 years and only 2 passwords. Ain't changing it again now.

I sent a, granted, uncomplimentary message asking if anyone knew how to actually contact a live Customer Service person. The immediate response was that the use of profanity is not allowed. I read and re read my message I never used any word even came close to being profane.
I can only assume you do not care if your customers remain with your service.

Add your answer I have been a yahoo user for several years and am now considering changing to another provider...my concern is how slow yahoo is responding especially to email. I had my computer serviced recently and was told that because of all the advertising that takes place at yahoo it is affecting your response time. Before I change can you tell me what is causing your slow response time. Wayne

YES! I've noticed the very same thing as everyone else! THEY REALLY HIDE THEMSELVES FROM THEIR PUBLIC!!! They probably cater to their sponsors because they are paying. I am not paying for any of their services. So obliviously I don't count and money is always the bottom line and counts as number 1! But they still need to get those numbers of people who use them even if free. The only service I really use of theirs is the email. I am sooo damn sick and tired of it not working right that I am getting ready to jump to someone else! I really hate them anymore these days! So I hope they are reading this because I will be cancelling them soon!

For the last week, everytime I log in at an airport or airline (which I need), Yahoo locks my account and makes me redo my password. That is very time consuming but than I change it but for a long time, I can get emails but all emails I send get send back and not sent. How to stop this??

What the F is with yahoo. If you call you wait forever and get hung up on or don't even get to speak with anybody. If you use Help online you get nothing but dead ends and keep looping over to the same F'in questions without ever being able to send a damn email. Time to look for another carrier. Next time I'm in Santa Clara I'm going to into their offices and raise hell.

Hey Yahoo -
#1 - why must you make it next to impossible for customers to contact you?
#2 - Your newest email update really stinks, not user friendly at all ! There are no emoticons, no fonts, no colors, not easy to attach anything to a message, can't print message - you name it IT'S A HORRID MESS TO WORK WITH. Every update lately has made it more difficult to work with - WHAT ARE Y'ALL DOING ??? Whatever it is quit it & just give us all the features back & LEAVE IT ALONE !!
#3 - I like the way my homepage was set up - why must you change it? You can add options but quit changing things !!

My email is not being deleted, a supposed deleted message shows up again. Plus, this new Framwork is definitely made for a left hander. It is so sensitive that merely hovering a finger over a message...it opens up when I do not want it to. SO SO FRUSTRATING. I might as well switch to another carrier. I had tried various times , Without success, to reach CS person for DAYS AND DAYS. WAS DROPPED, WAITED OVER AN HOUR+

Yahoo seems to have taken great strides to make direct e-mail contact as difficult as possible. Using the hypertext below will take you to yet another FAQ litany. You can copy the non-hyper address topaste into an e-mail.
After 20 years...Google here I come...
