I once knew a guy who swore that he was so fast he could switch off the light...?

He turned off the light while it was still light outside. He then took his time but made sure he was in bed before the sun went down.

Sachel Paige liked to tell a tall tale referencing one hotel at which he and James "Cool Papa" Bell stayed, in which there was a short delay between flipping the light switch off and the lights actually going off, sufficient for Bell to jump into bed in the interim. Leaving out the explanatory details, Paige liked to say that Bell was "so fast he can turn off the light and be in bed before the room gets dark!"

Girl I'm so fast that I can take the beer bottle out of the fridge before the light automatically turns on in it so it's no wonder that he can do that.

I hope he's not that quick in bed though...

Bruce lee really could, but i am guessing he had a string tied to the switch and a pulley attached to the wall, and ran the string from switch through pulley and tie it to his bedpost.

the light switch was right by his bed?

he had a light that was turned on and off by a clapper or he used a dimmer switch
