Printer that will print directly to CD?

Wait for the new HP models that will be coming out in July. One of which (the HP C5280) prints directly to printable cd/dvds. This printer may be available on HP.com. Epson makes some, but personally I find Epson printers very unreliable.

Currently, HP makes a printer that does print on disks (D5160) so if you do not want to wait, take a look at this one at your local office supply store.

I have an epson photo stylus R300 which works really well under windows XP but beware a lot of epson printers come with a programme called print CD does not work under windows vista and update downloads are not available so you cannot print to Cd's most printer manufactures including HP are not or slow producing Vista vista drivers for printers over 12months old so they could still on the shelf in some shops

For the higher end - like it looks like it was commercially printed - there is one thats not tooooo expensive and does a killer job:

Everest II's do the best job we've ever seen. Rimage makes some other printers, too. These are what the Pro's use. Be sure to Google/Yahoo for best pricing. Lots of people selling them online at good prices.

I have an Epson R200 that is cheap, uses individual ink cartridges (so you only replace one color at a time) and can print direct to a CD using a supplied CD tray that feeds through the printer.

The inks are waterproof too!

I have a Epson R265 which does a good job.£49 Currys.The problem is it has no scanner.But the ink is really cheap to replace.They have brought out an up dated model.I paid my £10

insurance for no questions asked to replace.So i can see mine going back soon.

Epson PhotoStylus prints on CD. R400 is my model, I think. I'm at work, so I can't check.

We here use a Epson Stylus Photo R220, and it works great.
