Hmmm..what's that song called? Surfin USA? I forgot...but I think it's great...I sang it on karoke once...they always play it at a wave pool..it goes like this:

- I have others that are not typical "summer songs," but that I associate with certain vacations or things that have happened in summers past, etc., so they are "summer-ish" to me personally.

Lots of them come to mind...."All Summer Long" by the Beach boys for the end of summer, "Summer" By War. But my most recent fave was by a local musician from the SF Bay area named Chuck prophet, called "Summertime Thing". WOW...is it ever evocative of a warm, lazy day. Perfect tune!
