Sailor Jerry Rum?
My friend has told me about Sailor Jerry, and I want to try the rum. Where can I find it? Currently I am in Houston, TX for the summer, then I'll be back home in Iowa. Any suggestions? Thanks!
My friend is from Orlando, FL. He's in a band and has drank it when touring. He said he's found it in Tampa, but I was hoping to try to find it here in Houston.

You should be able to find Sailor Jerry rum in most beverage stores like everages and more or alcohol warehouses.
Sailor Jerry is a decent rum, but it's the history behind it that makes it so interesting. Sailor Jerry is a cult rum with tattoo artists and that culture. You should not have too many problems finding it. I think it tastes a lot like Captain Morgan's personally

Cantaloupe is big where i'm from so i LOVE cutting one in half and throwing the fruit in blender with some Sailor Jerry, ice and a dash of salt. freeze the hollowed edges while you're making it and you got a cool chilly cup for your tasty sailor drink! i got the exact recipe from a simple Google search but i just add however much i feel like now haha, enjoy!

Where did your friend see this rum? It may be a regional product as I don't recognize the name myself. If Texas or Iowa have liquor control agencies, then go to the agency's website and see if they carry the product. You could also do a search under the product name.

Go to any decent liquor store and if they don't carry it ask them to order you a bottle.
