HELP! I have a reoccurring vaginal rash. Did the yeast infection cure.?

The steroid cream that one dr gave me for contact dermititus isn't as effective as it once was. I first had this 3 years ago. Have seen 4 doctors over this. Has any one else had these symptoms? Swollen, crusty outer vagina. Itchy inner vagina and out. Sometimes bleeding. The Monistat helped some but caused bleeding. It is a very depressing situation, kind of hopeless and physically miserable. Please no wisecrackers, this is serious to me.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

If you used the monistat, you may have some mild bleeding. If the condition is not getting any better, you probably have a vaginal infection which is VERY serious..it can go into your tubes if not treated and only a doctor can tell you for sure by smears if you have it. If it's swollen, it sounds like BV and see a MD..only he can help. I had BV and thought it was YI, by the time the MD got to exam me, he couldn't get the speculum in..due to swelling. C a MD soon before it spreads.

Since you're grasping at straws I would suggest looking into eating foods that will help combat your problem. Lots of garlic to start with ... look on line you will find more ideas on the food. Also, try neem, make a douche with neem tea that you make yourself. You can drink the tea (not what you used elswhere) as well ... tastes bad, but I swear by it for infections. This link is the only site I would trust in purity (below). Buy the powder bark ... I think it may be more active for skin. Buy the powdered leaves for drinking tea. It has so many uses you wont regret getting some of this stuff.

Please get a new doctor ASAP. Is this a yeast infection or a dermological issue. Sounds like an adult version of diaper rash to me (no kidding).

I say this is a long term lesson for you and others, who think being sexually active is the key to fun in relationships. However, I hope god eases you pain; and you need to know yeast infection is a bacterial it can be cured depending when you started the treatment.

i'm really not trying to be a wise ***...but i don't understand why people post medical problems on here. this does not sound fun and you are going to get a much more educated answer and solution if you just call your doctor and talk to them about it. call your doc immediately, it might be something more serious than you think.
