To what does Pat Green's song 'Galleywinter' refer? Is it a place?

I know there is a website regarding country music by that name, but what is the place that he is writing about?

    I think that Pat Green used the name as a fictional place. His history with the website makes it unlikely that he is referring to some real place, which by the way, there is no reference to any city, town or place by that name on the web.
