How much to donate to Rev for a burial of ashes?
My father died last month. There was memorial service and he was later cremated. We are now burying the ashes at the family plot. A reverend local to where my parents lived is going to come deliver a service graveside and my mom is wondering how much of a donation she should give as it is about a 45 min drive to the burial site and she wants to compensate him for his time.
Any idea what would be fair? Thanks.

I would appreciate any input. Do you think the names are too popular, too weird? What type of person do you think they are? (some of the boys names are family names, Davis & Everett)
9 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoWhy do Republicans in the US Congress forget they work for their constituents and not the President?
I am sick of all the news stories where they talk about the White House putting pressure on Republican Congressmen (and women) to support the administration. If a Representative or Senator's district doesn't support the President, shouldn't that Congressman (or woman) represent his (or her) district's wishes and NOT the administration's?
(I apologize if I have a possessive apostrophe s where is doensn't belong.)

3 AnswersCountry1 decade agoWhen might continental drift cause additional major landmasses?
I just happened to be thinking about this today after reading the news article about the New Madrid fault in the Mississippi River region. Are there any particular drifts that have the potential of creating major landmasses or voids within the next hundred years or so? Or is everything fairly "stable" - moving at such a rate that we would be talking millions of years for such a thing to occur?
Just curious.
2 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology1 decade agoIs there a way to protest wording on ballot referendum?
I think the wording on a ballot referendum in our state was purposely misleading. Its implication to people was one thing and its intent another.
Is there a legal way to protest this? Serious answers, please.
4 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhere is a good winter vacation spot in the US?
Have approximately Dec 26th - Jan 2nd and would like to do an outdoor vacation - hiking, snowshoeing, nordic skiing. Would love to go to a National Park or Forest.
Anyone have good references of places to go - or companies that organize winter activities.

Children today are tyrants. They contradict their parents, gobble their food, and tyrannize their teachers.
