the first holiday of summer is near 4th of JULY what do u and your family do to celebrate .?

A cook out is always nice everyone brings a covered dish and that elimanates alot of expense. Fireworks shows can be found for free in many towns. The beach is free. Our family gets together at my husbands great aunts cottage on lake erie we eat play games swim at the beach and then go downtown on the lake to see free fireworks cost us about 20 dollars from start to finish.

we love just enjoying the holiday with family and close friends we dont buy fireworks because they are expesive and my family thinks it's just like lighting your money on fire (LOL)! Just have a barba-Q we swim in our pool and just theme out the whole celebration! We always go to a collage and watch fireworks but they just stoped this year! You should look around to see if your local parks are going to have a orcasta and fireworks just bring a blacket and enjoy the 4th in style! Ahve a great one!

Actually its Memorial Day, but that just celebrates those war heroes, right? Fourth of July means fireworks shows and there are none better than the Mira Mesa show (San Diego California) that has the Marine base and Top gun pilots doing the fireworks for us, broadcasted in music by a local radio station with patriotic songs and anthems......

I cried so much, even though my sailor husband was back home with me, holding me in his arms during the whole thing.

I truly know what it is for people to fight for their freedom and I admire those who are doing it now. I wish the best to all military people fighting for us, I admire you and appreciate you......God bless you and keep you safe for your families.........

We are going to the beach and BBQ then head home since I have to work the next day. Lil' or no money, Maybe one could cook a few hamburgers, chips, maybe a salad, go to a park nearby and picnic. I guess you could play some games. We always have family memebers help with buying things for our BBQ's.

Corn, Watermelon, Pasta Salad

Typically my family barbecues, watches baseball, swims, and watches fireworks on the 4th of July.

I usually go to the beach and have a BBQ with my family.And we start walkin around,flyin kites,skating,chillin on the sand,and get wet with the water.Then it gets dark and we watch the fireworks.

pinata! swim in the pool! Relax outside in the sun... maybe cook some food on a grill!

Have a picnic and we do different things every year and at night we watch the shootout

I usualy take my sister on a date, to the movies or aq nice dinner.
