What's wrong with Electhros' answer this time?

Here's a clue. He suggests passive crossovers for limiting the bass to door/dash speakers -which is completely acceptable.

Thing is, his link brings us to FMods (which are low-level) and electronic crossovers (low-level also)

    Not only that, but he suggested a crossover could amplify.
