Magic the Gathering question, beatdown deck.?

What are some red or green cards that can get creatures out for little or no cost? I have a few Defense of the Heart's and Elvish Piper's, but beyond that I can't think of anything. For any answers can I get the set please?

Hibernation's end is a good one. It is from Cold Snap, costs 1g, 3c (I think, it might be 4c). It has a culmalative upkeep of 1, every turn you can search your library and put into play a creature with the same cmc as the upkeep. Chord of Calling is another good one. If you don't mind doing saprolings, Selesnya Evangel lets you put one out every turn.

Besides what you have named the only others are Krosan Drover which helps get out bigger creatures that cost 6 mana or more for 2 generic less. Also you have the warchiefs but the red one works for goblins so it won't be good in a beatdown deck. The Korsan Warchief helps get beasts out faster buy one generic less and helps regenerate target beast. Also try Centaur Omenreader or Cloudkey from future sight.

First, you need mana accel. I used to run BWG in the Kamigawa days and I was always able to get big guys(Kodama of The North Tree ftw!!!) out by running a certain amount of accel. What accel you run depends on your preferences. I like continuous searchability so I use Journeyer's Kite. Wayfarer's Bauble, Kodama's Reach, and Farseek are all great mana accel. Also, running mana creatures isn't a bad idea either.

Next, you need to decide what sort of beatdown deck you want to make. If you want to run a more aggresive beatdown deck they no creature should cost more than 4 mana. Wild Pair and Aluren are excellent at this. If you want a deck that relies on fatties then you need an alternate method of getting them out. Natural Order and Sneak Attack are both great for getting fatties out quick.

In Standard the most popular R/G beatdown cards are:

Giant Solifuge, Scab-Clan Mauler, Scorched Rusalka (Guildpact)

    Kird Ape (9th edition)

Pact of the Titan (Future Sight)

The Pact Cost is zero, but you will have to pay for it later.

    Good Luck

ok properly to commence some super purple-black enjoying cards are from the eventide set. i pick to recommend Demigod of revenge on your deck they're very stable. additionally Malfgor is a card in conflux this is affordable and a brilliant elimination and win difficulty card that follows your colours. additionally for one drops (creatures that come out one turn one (necessary to a beatdown/aggro deck) i like parent or destiny from eventide. each and every time your play a undeniable ammount of purple mana he receives bigger. while it says faucet to characteristic mana it potential your floating mana you dont get a land. to illustrate if i faucet a land i placed one mana floating in my pool. Tapping them is fairly like tapping a land so which you dont seek your library for a land. desire that enables

    You've named them all.

Most of the 'put into play' cards haven't been reprinted. For obvious reasons.

If you're not playing standard, try Sneak Attack. It's from Urza's Saga. Best 'put into play' cards ever.

If you are playing Standard...well...Piper's about it.

Kird Apes or Pioneer Elves might work...

You might want to try dual lands...

    Hope this helps...
