grease on deep fryer lid???

i was wondering what is the best thing to get this gunk of the lid. thanks :)

    dish washing soap (cuts grease) and a brush.

    I agree, Greased Lightening is a fantastic product... if you're in the States, I think it's even less at Dollar General Stores. BUT - I also use Borax for cleaning too... works miracles just like the Magic Clean Pads do... just pour a little of powder into a bowl and use a damp cloth and dip it in the Borax and scrub... not much it won't get out... scuff marks, stains, grease... makes appliances look BRAND NEW... seriosully!

    I will definitely have to agree with Jeremy...Greased Lightening works wonders. Its also great for treating stains on your clothing and from my experience it doesn't cause bleach stains either. You can find it at Walmart for less than $5

    wipe straight dishwashing detergent on the lid then rinse under hot water,or you can use 'bam'oven cleaner

    dawn, if that doesnt work, use 409, then rewash with soap.
