One word; TECHNU. It is expensive, but absolutely works. It will WASH the oil out of you or anything else. Also, Band-Aid brand cooling/anti itch gel is great for the itch. Trust me, i get poison oak/ivy BAD.

When I got Poison Oak as a kid (many times), Doctor said to bathe carefully in warm water, gently pat dry - then put on the Calamine lotion over affected areas. The warm water brings the poisons closer to the surface of the skin, making the infections easier to treat and faster to cure!

  • For the love of God, don't scratch it! Maybe try Calamine lotion. That's gotta be horrible, on your foot? Yeesh! I heard Benadryl works too, but I won't swear to it.

    Benadryl is correct.

Believe it or not, freshly urinate on your foot.

Urine is curative in many circumstances.

Source(s): Had to do it during a camping trip. It worked!
