detachable, i'm a running back and in my first year of middle school i used molded cleats and didn't do too good. the next season i wore detachable cleats and i broke a school rushing record because i changed out my cleats when i played in different weather conditions and on different surfaces.

Detachable cleats tend to give better traction because of the placement of the cleats, and you can change the studs for the specific turf you are playing on.

The kind of cleats that have screw on stabilizers on the bottom. if he is a lineman, get high cut cleats. low cut for other positions.

Just normal cleats... cleats don't make a player his skills do.. he could play bare-foot and be better

ive always worn detachable....if they start to where down after a while u can just buy new studs i guess ud call them for like 5 dollars

well im gonna be a junior and i play line and our deal is we cant shave until we loose, and i just have a detachable cuz when i get some chin hair goin and i make a tackle it rubs like hell, so just get him a detachable for now

i use detachable cus u can keep reusing the screwins and if u get metal ones they dont wear doen so he will keep with good traction..plus they look cool haha
