Catholics...So where are all the souls what went to purgatory now that there is no Purgatory??

Catholics still believe in Purgatory.

Are you perfect now? Most people would say no.

Will you be perfect in heaven? Most people believe yes.

Purgatory (or purgation) is the process of God's love changing our imperfect selves into perfect beings.

Depending on the amount of change needed by different people this can be an easy or slightly harder process.

Everyone in purgatory is on their way to heaven.

I don't think Mother Teresa of Calcutta had a very hard time of it.

The Church has pondered the suggestion of Limbo for a few hundred years and has decided that it is not a good idea. Limbo was never official doctrine.

Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)

For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. The Bible does not explicitly state that they will go to heaven.

Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.

The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

Since Purgatory is a central doctrinal belief of Christianity, there always was, is now, and always will be Purgatory. The doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church never change. They can't since they are the fullness of truth, and truth cannot change, unless you change it to untruth, as in the thousands of unauthorized conflicting manmade denominations of Protestantism. I assume you are actually referring to the Church's present stance on Limbo, which is entirely different from Purgatory, and which never was a defined doctrine of the Catholic Church, just a grass roots popular belief, which is exactly why the Church has rightly discouraged belief in it.

Purgatory is still around. Limbo is no more. Do not feel bad, many Catholics get this wrong also.

Limbo was an interpretation - it's not official dogma. And purgatory is still around.

The Roman church just made purgatory up as they did Indo European- Isrealite lol. To fit into their twisted belief structure professing themselves wise they became fools who changed the truth of God into a lie.. Read Romans the first chapter of Romans! For it encompasses today's events in our culture and explains why, cross reference it with Lev. 18! It sadens me deeply to say what's in our heart is contray to truth. That our heritage is a rendition of Isreal's. Because we have been placed in the Bible does not constitute us being God's elect! Further more it condemns us rather than lifts us up! Yeshua's word condemns us as the frauds we really are. Yet we continue to parade around ignorantly believing we are God's chosen. All are ancestors had to do, were humble themselves and learn Hebrew and we would of been fine..
