You are actually right. But anyway, regardless what their routine is, advise her to USE CONDOMS every time she has intercourse. In the first place, she's 16 years old. In my personal opinion, she should not even be having sex yet b/c she's too young. You should look out for her more, advise her that it's better to wait until she's married to have sex, now that's it's too late, she's already doing it. Remind her there are STD's, AIDS & unwanted pregnancy. She could end up with either one if she's not being careful.

sperm doesnt die as soon as it hits the air - even iff the sperm didnt get inside your cousin there still is a possibility that she is pregnant, buy a pregnancy test and check.
