World Cup 2002 or World Cup 2006?

2006, i won't say because italy won lol but because in 2002 the refs were very biased towards the koreans, they had spain and italy among other teams knocked out with tons of unfair decisions. in 2006, the refs seemed to have picked up their game and it was a fair and entertaining world cup

I think 2006 was Better , I watched every single game and the storyline was unbelievable. Watching Italy play and see how it all played out, they were the team of Destiny. With Italy facing the match fixing scandal back at home, Italy not winning the Cup since 82 , many people were questioning if Italy was still worthy of being a true Powerhouse. Italy in the tournament showed they were the team of destiny, From Totti's stare down before drilling in the gw penalty shot against Australia, From GROSSO's unbelievable goal against Germany, The final was a great game one to go down in history. Italy has been robbed by the dreaded Penalty shoot out throughout history. To see the Azzurri Knock in ALL 5 shots to win the WORLD CUP was the best thing ever..... also would like to say Argentina played the most beautiful soccer in the tourney 6-0 against serbia, the game was amazing. World Cup 2006 way way way better .

everyone just skip that line?? Great brazil won in 02 but wow does it really matter?? iactually think its better than loss but it got to show that other countries are just as talented. I have to say 06, 02 had terrible refering(N Korea def got alot of help from the refs) the time difference was makin games so hard to watch live, and the feelin was different than it was in germany. In 06 it became Global, even in the US were regualr people caring, and interested in it. Never before has the world cup been so widely watched, and the matches were just more entertainin. Aside from a couple questionable calls(italy dive vs Ausies & france dive vs portugal for PK) it was very well officialed, it had a party atmosphere, and there were many more memorable goals and moments. it ended wih the zidane head butt, which was hilarious, but also Maxi Rodriguez's strike was a crazy goal, and so many others.

overall 06had a more enjoyable, good time vibe, that brought many new fans and show cased the sport in a record amount of countries.

I like better the 2002 one cause brazil won, but the 2006 one was also really good. They played good, and a lot of teams that usually are bad played really good, and it was also suprisisng to see Italy win, I think not many people were waiting for that, everyone though that Brazil, Germany or Portugal was going to win, it had a suprising end, which everyone liked.

I enjoyed both of these years WC,but mostly i enjoyed was 2002,i do support Italy and should have said 2006 but 2002 was thrilling and i watched every single match with friends and done so many things while watching matches lol

the 2002 FIFA World Cup coz it was the first time the tournament was hosted in Asian continent & i get to watch many matches 'live'.

World 2006 was better because every one thought that brazil would win the world cup.But italy won it

2002 - there was a very nice south korean player (the one who scored that fateful goal that sent italy out of the game) and which i though was quite handsome.

2006 - it was really great seeing zidane sent away with a red card in his last game =p and the italians did great too!! i really loved grosso's manouvre which seemed to be a gift form heaven!!!! it saved them it did!!!

i like them both but 2002 was better
