Has Anyone ever Heard about the NAFTA Super Highway being planned from Mexico, through the USA, to Canada?

Apparently, it will be four football fields wide. It will start at the Mexican border at Laredo Texas, to the Canadian border North of Dulth, Minn. Containers from the Far East will enter the Mexican Port of Lazaro Cardenas, bypassing the American Longshoreman's Union. The Mexican trucks, WITHOUT the involvement of the AMERICAN TEAMSTERS UNION will travel this Highway through the Center of the USA,  to a MEXICAN Customs Office in Kansas City. This Facility is being built for MEXICO at a cost of $3 Million to the U.S. Taxpayers. Then the Containers will either go to Canada, or to other U.S. States. It appears that there are Plans to create the NORTH AMERICAN UNION to replace the USA! Great Reason for trying to pass the Defeated Immigrations Bill.

This has been rumored for quite some time now. At first I thought it was just an urban myth - but I'm not quite so sure anymore. 
Sounds like an attempt to emulate the European Union, only in North America.
With all of the hype and conspiracy theories making the rounds, it's getting very difficult to know just what the hell plans are in the works. It doesn't sound like a very good deal for America to me, but I'm sure big industry would disagree.
If there is any truth to it, it will just be another tactic which will undermine the American worker.

This is funny. I hope they do not put in any off ramps. The gas stations, food stores, emergency medical should be contained on the hwy. Before we get going maybe we should get an office going like Interpol to ease the transition. The politics is way different in all three countries. Lots of graft, and corruption that could need fixing. I like the separate but equal countries.

Yes, I have heard of some sort of super highway in the works, something like what you describe. I thought part of it is being constructed now. Isn't it in Texas somewhere? Not sure but it was in the southwest...

Geez, more tin-foil hats, please!  This question has been asked a gazillion times and is just as ludicrous every time.  "Human Events" is a paranoid right-wing rag, by the way.
