what does it mean to wage peace? sounds like an oxymoron to me.?

    We wage peace and negotiate war. We are peacekeepers.

    Wage, in this case, means to "engage in, or carry on". Of course, the more common usage is "wage war", but I can see where you can "wage peace" as well. I would take that to mean actively working for peace.

  • I agree just another spin phrase.

    My suggestion to the "hug your enemy crowd" is to go to Yellowstone and try to pet a Griz, scratch a Bison behind the ear or offer food to a Bull Elk or Moose.
