If you could give out a first half of the season MVP award, who would you give one to in the NL and AL?

AL-I would say A-Rod.

NL-Probably Prince Fielder.

Your answer is on the money. The stats for both of those players clearly speak for themselves.

In the A.L. even though i hate saying this it has to be A-rod. He's leading the majors with 28 home runs and 79 Rbi along with a .334 average. And he has come through in the clutch this year. In the N.L. I give it to an underrated player Matt Holliday. He is leading the N.L. with a .348 average and 115 hits. He's also driven in 61 runs on a weak Rockies team.

AL: its between Maggio Ordonez, Alex Rodriguez and Vlad Guerrero. I'm inclined to give it to Magglio, but you can make a fair argument for any of the three

NL: though several players are having better seasons, I'd give it to the sentimental favorite, Junior Griffey
