May I please have your favorite recipe for homemade lemonade, using real lemons?
I will be giving out "BEST ANSWER" before the time runs out, so please find your favorite recipe & take your time...Thanks to all who reply!!!

This is by far the best "Old time Lemonade" recipe my grandma used to make for me as a kid!
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups room temp water
2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups ice-cold water
Add sugar and water in pot and bring to a slow boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and let sit for about 10 minutes. While this is cooling, I squeeze the lemons into a separate measuring cup to get 2 cups. (I recommend removing the seeds if you don't use a juicer as it can make it more tart...if you keep the seeds in it to make it look more authentic, you may want to add more sugar to adjust for the taste)
Once the syrup has sat for 10 minutes, I add that into a large pitcher. Then I add lemon juice and stir to dissolve the sugar. Once that is done I add cold water. Stir to combine.
Chill until very cold in the refrigerator. I like to make this the day before so it will sit overnight (although it is hard for my husband and kids to not get into before then).
TIP: In the summer, when the lemons are really fresh and more reasonably priced, I will squeeze 2 cups of the juice into freezer ziploc baggies and freeze them. Then when I want lemonade year round, all I have to do is thaw a baggie out and all the squeezing is already done! It makes it so much quicker and easier...

CLASSIC HOME-STYLE LEMONADE
3 lemons
3 cups filtered water
4-5 tbsp. fine sugar
1. Juice one lemon using an orange juicer. Pour juice through a sieve, extracting all pulp and seeds.
2. Juice the two other lemons, and with a slotted spoon (or something that will do the job), take out only the seeds.
3. Pour all lemon juice into the jug that you're using. You should have juice that has some pulp, but not alot. (If you want, sieve the juice of all the lemons if you don't like pulp. I think it's better with pulp.)
4. Add the 3 cups of water, stirring gently.
5. Pour in the sugar a tablespoon at a time, stirring slightly quickly. When all sugar is in, keep on stirring for half a minute, until dissolved.
6. Chill for at least an hour.

We had a lemon tree that produced these huge Ponderosa lemons, big as my fist they were. My daughter and I came up with this recipe. This is really just a method, adjust the measurements to suit your taste. There is nothing like lemonade made from lemons that were on the tree just a few minutes ago. It spoiled us for any other kind. One of life's irony's is that lemons are harvested in Nov. and Dec. but we crave the icy cold beverage in the summer time.
Fresh Lemonade
2 cups of sugar
3 cups of water
1 cup of fresh lemon juice
1 gal jug filled with ice
In a saucepan boil water and sugar to make a simple syrup. Pour lemon juice and hot syrup over the ice, stir to melt ice and taste. Adjust the tartness to suit your taste by adding more lemon juice or more ice.

I like it this way :
1 gallon water
1 cup sugar
4 very large lemons for
juicing, roll on counter top to
help make juicer
2 lemons to slice and use
in the lemonade
This can be adjusted according to taste as you may like it sweeter than I do. Mint would make a nice garnishment.

Try this.
4 lemons
1 cup real lemon juice
1 cup sugar
Mash and roll the lemons for about 3 minutes.
Slice on a plate to save juice, Place in glass pitcher add sugar, stir well fill with cold water.

I like strawberry lemonade. Use 2 cups fresh lemon juice, 2 cups sugar, 5-10 strawberry's sliced, 1 gallon of water,and plenty of ice. I also like to add a 1 lemon cut into slices.

1 cup hot water
2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 gallon cold water
1 lemon, sliced
Mint sprigs, for garnish
In a 1 gallon container, place sugar and hot water, and stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and cold water to render 1 gallon. Stir until well mixed. Pour lemonade over glasses of ice, squeeze slice of lemon on top of each, and garnish with a sprig of mint

1 1/2 cups of lemon juice, just squeezed
1/2 cup of sugar, granulated (to taste)
5 cups cold water, bottled is best usually
1 large lemon, cut into wedges
sprigs of mint
Mix lemon juice and 2 cups of water to dissolve completely. Add remaining 3 cups of water and stir. If served immediately, add ice cubes made with bottled water and serve with lemon wedges and sprigs of mint.
May be made with lime juice and a splash of pomegranate juice and club soda for Pom limeade.
