EVERY RECIPE I FIND CALLS FOR CRUSHED PINEAPPLE BUT MY HUBS DOES NOT LIKE PINEAPPLE. DO I NEED TO COMPENSATE FOR THE MOISTURE THEN PINEAPPLE WOULD BRING TO THE RECIPE AND HOW?

I am not talking about all of the things that I have done to death: i.e. meatloaf, spaghetti sauce, tacos, chili, burgers & Sloppy Joe's etc. Someone please share a recipe; Maybe a favorite casserole. I am desperate for something different.

I will get the ball rolling. Our Friday night dinner menu is: Carne gasada over white rice, charo beans, carrot/raisin salad and for dessert Honey Bun Cake.

I have recently retired and find myself with a lot of time on my hands. I have reorganized every room in my home; the most recently being the kitchen. In the process I rediscovered many recipes collected over the years. I am thinking about taking my families faves and making them into two cooking scrape books for my daughter and daughter-in-law. I would like to include dates when the recipes were collected, comments on how my family responded to them and pictures, however do not have a clue as to how to go about it. HELP!!!

We are putting together donations to be sent to our troops in Iran and Afghanistan. We are doing individual Fem. and Masc. packages. So far each package has travel size baby wipes, deodorant, 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, medicated/baby powder, mouthwash, small soaps, fun size bags of Skittles and Sunburst and single packets of powdered fruit drink(kool-aide and crystl lite. I am wondering if I should put more personal items like maybe tampons in the fem. pkg and razors in the masc. I would welcome any and all suggestions. Thank you.

Long story short, during a mission in Bulgaria in late 2007 he and a buddy rescued two soldiers who where trapped under a 5 ton. He and his battle buddy were both awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Medal of Commendation. Whatever happened that day has effected him deeply. He will not discuss it with me(we communicate via internet). I found out quite by accident he was being treated for PTSD. What can i do to help my boy?

When I crave something sweet, I will eat two or three marshmallows. The big ones are a fat free, low carb, zero cholesterol snack that is low in sugar grams and satisfies my sweet tooth. Long story short, my cat loves them and will torment me until I give her some. The first time I figured being a persnickety cat she would not like them. Did she fool me. She loves them now when I take out the bag she is all over me trying to get herself some marshmallow. I do not give them too her everyday in fact it is more like once a week. But she will eat a whole marshmallow torn into bite size pieces. I would like some input. Thanks for all of your answers.

I am going to put instant banana pudding and walnuts in the mix and bake it in a bunt pan. What adjustments do should I make when I add the bananas. Other ingredients are, 4 lg eggs, 1/3 cup oil, 1 cup buttermilk, 1/4 c sugar. I dust the nuts in flour to keep them suspended in the batter during baking. I am wondering if I should adjust the wet ingredients because of the addition of the bananas.

We have a pot luck every year in Dec. at my workplace. The problem is it is usually during our regular lunch hrs. from 11-1, which is great for all of the staff that remain on site during the day. But we have 5 drivers who never get to attend because they leave before 11 and do not get back until after 3. This year I would like to pack up boxes they can take on the road with fun sweet and savory foods that reflect the season and are not too messy. Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I just used three large cinnamon swirl bagels, one small plain bagel and two leftover dinner rolls. Because of the type of bread I

increased the custard mixture. I also used white and brown sugar in the custard. Just wondering if anyone has ever made a bread pudding recipe with bagels.

My sister wants to send him a camera and film, but I don't know what we are allowed to send. Does anyone out there know what we should or should not send?

We found her on Easter weekend, she was so starved that she could not even walk. We put her in our garage and kept food and water down for her. Within 4 days she was up and running around. We then got her shots and had her wormed and treated her for fleas. She has now been assimulated into our pack.(we have 6 dogs) She is healthly in everyother way but she is still painfully thin. I plan on having her spayed but would like to put about 5 more pounds on her. Any suggestions?

WE FOUND HER ON EASTER WEEKEND. SHE WAS SO STARVED SHE COULD NOT WALK, MY SON HAD TO CARRY HER TO THE CAR. WE PUT HER ON A PALLET IN OUR GARAGE WITH FOOD AND WATER RIGHT THERE, SHE DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO MOVE TO EAT. WITHIN 4 DAYS SHE WAS RUNNING AROUND AND READY TO BE INTRODUCED TO THE REST OF MY PACK. WE HAVE HAD HER WORMED, AND VACCINATED AND THE PACK HAS ASSIMALATED HER. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE HER SPAYED THE END OF JUNE, BUT WOULD LIKE TO PUT ABOUT 5 MORE POUNDS ON HER BEFORE THEN, ANY SUGGESTIONS ON A SAFE WAY TO BEEF HER UP.

I intend to have her spayed in June but would like to put at least 5 more pounds on her. All advice will be welcomed and appreciated.

I only ask because my local pet adoption place will not accept chow puppies. They say it is hard to find homes for them. I just do not understand that, I was ga-ga over my Chico from the moment my husband brought the little white fuzz ball through the door.
