is it worth it to get an hdtv if I will only use it for an xbox 360?
I have pretty much decided to get an xbox 360 in the near future. I was thinking of getting a tv to go along with it. however, I don't have hd service or whatever. and I don't think I'm going to have it any time soon. I don't want to spend more than like 200 dollars. basically it appears my options are 20 inch regular tv or 15 inch lcd. the 20 inch says hd built in and best buy had some hd comparison thing playing on the tv. what do you guys think?

Since you're a GAMER....yes, it's worth it....
Because you WILL get an HD-DVD if not a BLU-RAY for your X-box....
THEN you'll want HD from a satellite or Cable....
But then again, you should save your money and get a Bigger TV set.....

It isn't worth it. For 200, you are not going to get a very good HDTV. To get the best graphics out of the 360, you would have to spend over $2000 dollars.

The short answer would be no. I would strongly suggest you get about a 32" CRT Flat panel Digital. Those handle the speed of the gaming graphics much better because of the direct view picture tube.

u must go in for the lcd bcoz, it's more portable and it just looks more sophisticated. i mean, the regular tv is just too bulky to drag along.
of course if you are going in for a better gaming experience, u might as well buy a regular tv

On thi size of the screen HDTV does not make much difference - get the largest screen you can afford.
