I became a Wicth in 1971 and started off as a Gardenarian. Was in a coven for almost 5 years, got tired of the group power plays and went on to drop out of the Coven. Practiced as an Eclectic Solitary for a number of years and explored MOST of the Traditions as they developed and grew. I Found Green Witchcraft (Hedge Witchery), through some of my eclectic readings and read some of Ann Moura's works. I liked the "back to nature" concept (being a PhD in an Environmental Science) and it spoke to my "environmentally concerned lifestyle". I have Been a Green Witch since 1998. Still practicing as a Solitary. I find that I can have a deeper, more personal relationship with Goddess and God when I'm practicing on my own. When in a group setting, the interplay of all the other human personalities tends to spread my energy out in places that I don't truly want it to go.

properly, you needless to say comprehend greater desirable than maximum beginners. particularly, in case you desire to be solitary with no need worked with a coven, purely one actual "custom" is accessible to you... That of the eclectic Wiccan. in case you arent getting to grasp a convention from a coven, then you definitely sort of dont have the different selections than to forge your guy or woman direction. the only traditions with the exception of the eclectic direction could all require you to paintings with a coven, a minimum of till youd found out the custom adequate to coach on your guy or woman, that would take countless years. Scott Cunningham i a good start up, e book-smart. purely save examining and waking your guy or woman direction. Im valuable youll locate some thing that works for you eventually. -Scarlet

None. I'm Eclectic. Besides, I don't think many would agree with my Atheistic view of the gods.
