Wow, it sounds to me like you are a lot smarter than other people your age. You are well on your way to being able to retire very early. But although you are doing great, I still think you should take some of your earnings, and once in a while treat yourself to a "toy" that you would really enjoy. It's good for you. Live life! But you seem to be doing GREAT! And a pre-nup is smart, unless you trust your girl with everything you have in life!

would be about 45,000... if you are even 25 and had no bills it means maybe you earned this for 7 years... so you would have had total of 315,000 in lifetime earnings

315-120k in stocks = 195

195-30k in cash = 165k

are you really telling me you bought 3 rental properties for 55k each????? and they are able to bring in 60k in taxable income per year...do you live at home??? so what about your house.? ... did you buy 4 houses then for 165k>?

err, so firstly I'm guessing you don't 'suck'... and it sounds like a 'pre-nup' may be a good idea if your planning to get married some time soon and are not sure about the person your marrying... but then why would you marry them?

Anyway, its not really cool to brag about how much cash you make or have... either you're a cool person or you're not and having money doesn't and never will define that.

As for your mates going and buying loads of crap, you seem like you have your head screwed on, are fairly mature and don't get carried away with hype, blowing your hard earned cash on toys. That's a good quality but don't forget to have fun sometimes! But you define how you have fun, it doesn't have to be about the cost of something!

Anyway, if you do have the cash... wear nice shoes, smile, relax... buy your fair share of rounds... people will get it, without you having to brag about it and lower your social value doing so.

You sound like you have the right composure for running your own business... and I like that your not rushing into it. Why not try to see a few bank managers with a few business plans. Tell them you have no money to invest yourself... if they are willing to grant a loan based just on your business plan, you can be pretty sure you've done a good job and are ready... then invest your own cash safely into your own business.

Chin up, you don't suck... enjoy the (to a degree, I'm sure) worry free position you are in. Don't rush anything you don't have to. Your doing well, just keep working hard.

I don't think your sucking has anything to do with the rest of the identifiers in the question. You are obviously successful, but sound concieted. I think you obviously had someone of a lesser income (who is no doubt less intelligent and has no worth at all, according to you) tell you that "you suck." You being you, decided to pose this question, and return them an answer from a panel of your peers that "no, you don't suck." so if your question is, "do i suck at making money?" then no, you don't. if you suck by means of being a cocky prick, then perhaps, yes.

Being financially secure never sucks. I'd say associate with people who have and maintain the same or greater level of personal wealth that you have achieved, then you shouldn't have to worry about gold diggers.
