Why no Egypt pavilion at EPCOT?
I had a friend ask me why there was not an Egypt pavilion at Disney's EPCOT. I didn't have a good answer for them, so I thought I would try Yahoo! Answers.

The previous answer is somewhat correct. It isn't the country that pays for the pavillion, but there are sponsors. One exception is Morrocco. This is sponsored by the king of Morrocco. The rest are sponsored by major corporations.

Short answer: the countries who have a pavilion pay for them. There have been negotiations over the years with lots of countries who did not end up building because terms couldn't be reached. I don't remember Egypt ever being discussed, but maybe it has.
