Question

I need a summary of this book for a project..
And i have to read it all.
but i do not have that time
and i really need the summary
and the main points and what its mainly about chapter per chapter
because i will have a test
i've read a few pages
but i don't think i'll be able to finish in time
so it'll BE REALLLY helpful
if someone had a summary per chapter and very detailed

It's hardly worth going to school if you're not going to bother to learn anything. 

This is one of the great, important books of recent years, and very deserving of the prizes it's earned.  Do yourself a favor, turn off the computer, and read as much as you can.  Finish it after the test if you have to.  You should know what's in this book.

Well, a short answer was that the book was another attempt to dismiss the cultural acheivments of Europe as pure luck, or as the product of subjugating tribal people--instead of really looking at the intellectual and technological advancements by which Europe created modernity.
