Grew up in the 500 building?

I see this every once in a while.

I must be dense.Whet the heck is the 500 building

    This is where all of the top secret planning went on from the 50's to 1992. Everything strategic from Vietnam through Desert Storm was "built" in that building. I lived in the shadows of dooms-day for most of my youth.

    I was cleared for every operational area and got to see and touch almost everything the military owned that flew. I got to talk with the pilots, crews, engineers, controllers, etc.

    But enough about me!
