Do you really feel a NEED for everyone to believe the same thing?

Not at all. What I believe wouldn't suit everyone by any means! Lol! I think we should celebrate our differences and that people shouldn't feel so precious about their beliefs or threatened by criticism or questioning. It is very obvious to me that there are many roads that lead to home and a couple of the bigger religions need to lighten up and practice the peace they preach.

I have friends of many ethnicities and beliefs. Would I like them to have the samew faith as I do ? Yes . Is it a need I have ? No But I think your question has more to do with the Christian tendency to proseletyze. There are a few reasons for this 1 We are told to tell the world ( world doen't have to listen) 2Some of us are so excited about how are lives have changed that we want everyone to know. 3 It is as if you had the cure for cancer wouldn't you want everyone to know or would you say maybe they won't be interested?

ONLY if that SAME thing is that EVERYONE has the right to follow his or her OWN Faith in accordance with his or her own beleifs. That is to say, if everyone accepts the premise that everyone is led to their Faith through their OWN personal relationship with whatever or whoever they percieve as Deity. Is willing to Tolerate those differences among people and is willing to NOT force by ANY means others to adopt YOUR ways (which YOU find to be acceptable to yourself). Then I would feel the NEED to accept that in everyone,. However, if people can't accept that one person's way may not work for others then my ONLY NEED is to return that lack of acceptance with the VERY same lack of acceptance of THEM by ME.

God has the need...when Jesus came to earth all the congregations that were started believed the same things because God is a God of order..even today God's organization learns the same things at the same time.

No, because I think the world would be a much less interesting place without different opinions. It fascinates me to hear other people's opinions and their reasoning behind it. I enjoy having conversations about T.V. shows, or religion with other people with different opinions.

Well it would be nice if everyone believed in equality and peace. that would be a good need.

No, but I have a NEED for people to stop living a narrow minded life style. It's one of my pet peeves.
