Will the cat come back here?
Well, yesterday night, I saw a stray cat. (Doesn't seem to have an owner, I've seen it some time ago too) We fed it some salmon and water. (I admit it, I'm a rabbit person. I don't know about cats very well) Anyways, do you think it'll come back for food again tonight?

Cats go where there is food! So if no-one else is feeding it, and it can get back to you it will be back!

most likely if you leave food out, i had a stray cat come here for a few weeks, i never fed it thought until my kids pointed out it was bieng startved (it ended up bieng my neighbors cat) so i fed it some hot dogs, untill i got to the store to get some cat food now it still comes to the house every day, and every evening when our door is open it'll pop it's head in and if we don't say anything to it it'll walk back outside and lay on the sidewalk other wise it'll come in the house and roam around get all of us to pet it and get the needed attention then backoutside she goes till the next day
